About Us
We are a team of dedicated mental health professionals in the city of Mysore with a primary objective of providing high standard neuropsychiatric, de-addiction and rehabilition services. Our team consists of General Adult Psychiatrists with expertise in acute care, de-addiction and rehabilitation, Psychogeriatricians with specialist interest in dementia care, psychologists, physiotherapists, social workers and speech and language therapists. Our transdisciplinary team provides integrated neuropsychiatric services for those with a range of mental health problems both as outpatients and inpatients. We are the first in the city of Mysore to provide residential psychiatric rehabilitation services in a purpose built 50 bedded hospital, with extended support aimed at reintegration with families and community. In addition, our home treatment team provides mental health care at patients’ residence with tailored investigations and bespoke personal care

He is an entruprueruer and angel investor Working extensively with NGOs related to mental health .he is a philanthropist and the general secretary of alumni of Sri Ramakrishna vidyashala .He is also the president of Swami Vivekananda house building Co operative society ..
Dr. Murali Krishna T N
Dr. Murali Krishna is clinical director at Viveka .A UK trained psychiatrist with specialisation in older person’s brain and mental health. He is a member of Royal College of Psychiatrists UK with Specialist Certification in Old Age Psychiatry and has a Ph.D. from the University of Southampton, UK. For nearly 15 years he worked in the NHS in the UK and helped set up Memory Clinics and services of Older Adults with Alzheimer’s disease and Dementias. He is one of the very few British trained Old Age Psychiatrists in India. He is a scientific advisor for the ARDSI (Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders International Mysuru Chapter). He is a well-accomplished clinician-researcher of International standing.

Mrs Soumya Rajagopal is one of the director’s at Viveka .A very humble and caring person .she is the backend support at vievka .Ha s an experience of 15 years running a. Psychiatric clinic .She has been doing a lot of social work in and around Mysore .She has a vision to provide good facilities for people with mental disabilities ..
Dr Rajagopal R
Dr Rajagopal R is the lead consultant for acute care services at Viveka. He is senior psychiatrist with MD in Psychiatry from the Post Graduate Institute (PGI-MER), Chandigarh. For over 10 years he has been providing high standard mental health services in the city of Mysore. He has specialist experience in management of psychiatric emergencies, acute care and a range of addictions. He heads the research on the epidemiology of suicide and suicide prevention in Mysore, and carries out collaborative research with University of Manchester, and University of Chester UK. He has several papers in leading national and international journals.
Dr Narendra Kumar MS
Dr Narendra Kumar MS is the lead consultant for de-addiction and rehabilitation services at Viveka. He is a senior psychiatrist trained at NIMHANS and has over 15 years’ experience of providing rehabilitation and de-addiction services in in-patient and community settings in Mysore. He is a well published researcher with specialist interest in maternal mental health. He is a mental health educator and regularly conducts training related to mental health and rehabilitation.
Aravinda kaumar S
Aravinda kaumar S is a Psychologist who did his Master of Clinical Psychology from Kuvempu University and has diverse experience as rehabilitation Psychologist for 4 years, Rehabilitation council of India recognized Special Education Teachers training Institue Coordinator for 5 years as well as expertise in Vocational rehabilitation and Child Psychology. His expertise include treating Children with developmental Dealy and Geriatric patients with psychological issues.
